The church that we
are building is not made of wood or steel, but
is constructed of a community of individuals who
are each being transformed by Christ. Again,
our church is not a building … it is a
collection of God-hungry people. Our end
objective is helping people become spiritually,
emotionally, physically, and mentally whole. We
think the only way this can be thoroughly done
in our culture is through a very organic church
environment, which at present is in the form of
a house-church. |
“What is a
house-church?”
As the name infers,
a "house-church" is a church that
primarily meets in a
house.
Sound simple?
It is.
Delightfully simple. |

Our intention is
for people to gather in homes in order to
grow in friendship with each other and
relationship with God. We assemble together
to eat, pray, search the scriptures and then
discuss. It's the way it all started two
thousand years ago and we're attempting to
return to the basics. We often forget that
the core idea of Christianity is all about
relationship … us with one other and with
God. The more personal setting of a
house-church allows us the liberty (in time,
energy, and finances) to focus on the
immediate concerns of the Kingdom: people.
Although our
primary emphasis is on the meetings that
take place in the homes, every Sunday, each
home group comes together for a joint celebration service.
