Toby and Ellen
moved to Anchorage, Alaska from St.
Louis, Missouri. Originally from
Alexandria, Louisiana, he lived in Texas and
Belarus before marrying Ellen in 1997.
Wife: Not
only is she incredibly capable, trustworthy,
fun, and intelligent, she's also good-looking.
A few of my
favorite things:
Early morning cups of coffee.
Solo canoe rides. Puppy breath. The
feeling you get after creating truly lyrical
art.
Favorite
reading genre: Adventure and Theology.
I like true stories where people barely survive,
and I love understanding more about the God who
enables them.

What better life is there... than sleeping in
late, pretending the world outside doesn't
exist, and eating banana pancakes with your
wife?

Theology, St. Louis (M.A. Theological Studies).
What is God
teaching me right now? The core value
of Christianity is love. Love first for
God, so that all areas of my life are worship
unto Him. Love second for people. I
want to care for people as I would want them to
care for me.
